Kirstie's School of Dance is based in the Wakefield area. It established in January 2011 as Kirstie's School of Dance with two classes at Newton Hill Primary School and 3 Classes at Wrenthorpe Methodist Church Hall on a Wednesday. From this I intend to expand with numbers of students growing and many different styles of Dancing becoming available to the students.

I provide tuition to children from age 2 1/2 in Ballet, Tap, Modern Dance, Cheerleading, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, irish dance and looking into starting gymnastics very soon. My aim is to provide quality tuition whilst maintaining a fun and secure atmosphere in which students can have enjoyable lessons in a friendly environment.

In the near future students will be given opportunities to perform in the School shows, auditions and external prductions such as galas etc. This is completley optional for all students.

I follow the Royal Academy of Dance's syllabus in Ballet and the International Dance Teacher Associations syllabus in Tap/Modern.
